C2 Baseball has a history of developing some of the top baseball players in the city of Houston and advancing numerous players to the collegiate and professional level. In the last three years, 44 of our players have committed to play college baseball and 150+ have committed over the last 10 years.
The number of players entering into the professional ranks continues to climb. Recently, C2 Baseball alumnus Christian Roa was drafted in the 2nd round of the MLB draft by the Cincinnati Reds after completing his junior year at Texas A&M University. This year Matthew Etzel was drafted in the 10th Round out of Southern Mississippi.
Our coaches and staff will provide and monitor the following in efforts of enhancing each player’s ability to master skills needed to succeed at a high level in baseball:
C2 players actively participate in our “Coaching to Change Lives” program that promotes leadership skills
C2 players play in highly competitive events (Texas Premier, Five Tool, PBR, Perfect Game)
Partnership with DST South and Velo Vault Sports Performance for Training and Throwing Programs
C2 players are members of Texas Premier, a premier membership consisting of 17 elite baseball programs in the state of Texas. Texas Premier hosts sold-out events, providing maximum exposure to college coaches, pro scouts at The Ranch in Franklin, Texas and provides an opportunity to attend the New Balance National Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
